Summary of Allegations

The case involves the registration of FIR No. 04/2020 on 05.01.2020 at PS Chandwa, District Latehar, Jharkhand, under sections 386, 411, 120B of the Indian Penal Code, section 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act, and sections 13, 16, 17, 20, 21 & 23 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967. It pertains to the arrest of three persons—Rajesh Kumar Ganjhu, Baijnath Ganjhu, and Kunwar Ganjhu—and the seizure of Rs. 5 lakh in cash from their possession.

And whereas, two arrested accused persons in this case namely Baijnath Ganjhu and Rajesh Ganjhu are also accused in NIA Case No. RC-25/2020/NIA/DLI relating to killing of 04 policemen and looting of their weapons by cadres of CPI(Maoist).
