Summary of Allegations

The case involves a criminal conspiracy between certain entities and individuals based in India and abroad, such as ‘Sikhs for Justice.’ These entities are campaigning for a ‘Punjab Referendum 2020 for Khalistan,’ raising funds to carry out secessionist and terrorist activities, both on the ground and on social media. They intend to instigate the Sikh community to agitate for the secession of Punjab from India, thus undermining the country's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity. Key individuals such as Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the legal advisor of ‘Sikhs for Justice,’ are accused of inciting disaffection towards the Government of India through seditious activities.
