A case in FIR No. 114/09 dated 16/10/09 was registered at PS Verna, Goa relating to discovery of IED at Sancoale, Goa on 16/10/2009. Government of India ordered
transfer of the case for investigation to NIA. Accordingly a Case No.RC-08/2009/NIA-DLI was registered at PS NIA on 11/12/2009.

Present Status: Charge sheet was filed in the Hon’ble District and Sessions Court, Goa, South at Margao on 14/05/2010 against 06 accused persons u/s 120(B), 121(A) of IPC, Sec. 16,18,23 of the UA(P) Act 1967 and Sec. 3,4,5 of the Explosive Substances Act 1908 and supplementary charge sheet has filed in the Hon’ble District and Sessions Court, Goa, South at Margao on 01/12/2010 against 03 accused person U/s 120(B), 120(A),201 IPC r/w 16,18,23 of the UA(P) Act 1967 r/w 3,4,5 of the Exp. Sub. Act 1908.Trial of the case is progress. Further investigation is in progress. This case was clubbed with case No. 08/2009 as accused of both the cases are the same and the combined Charge sheet in Cr. Nos. 7/2009 & 8/2009
