CASE-02/11

Police Station Hussaini Alam, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh registered FIR No.100/2007 dated 18.05.2007 and FIR No. 107/2007 dated 23/05/2007. Subsequently the investigation of the said cases was transferred to the Central Bureau of investigation. CBI re-registered the cases as crime No.RC.5(S)/2007/CBI/SCR-III/ND dated 09-06-2007 and No.RC.6(S)/2007/CBI/SCR-III/ND dated 06/10/2007 respectively and investigated the same. Later Govt. of India transferred the case to NIA for further investigation. Accordingly, the cases were re-registered at PS NIA as RC No. 02/2011 dated 06/04/2011.

The accused persons conspired to wage war against the State by causing Bomb blasts at the Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad, A.P.

Present Status: Chargesheet was filed against 02 accused persons, by CBI, U/s 302, 307, 326 and 511 read with 120 (B) IPC, Sections 13, 15 r/w 16, 18, 19 & 23 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 and Sections 3, 4 & 5 of Explosive Substances Act on 13.12.2010 in CBI Court, Hyderabad. NIA filed its supplementary charge sheet against one accused person on 16/05/2011 before the Spl. Court of NIA, Hyderabad.
