Summary of Allegations

The Central Government has received information regarding registration of a case No. 210/2019 dated 16.05.2019 at PS Geetanagar, Guwahati (Assam) under sections 325, 326, 307, 121 of IPC read with sections 3, 5 of Explosive Substances Act, 1908 and section 10, 13, 16, 20 of UA(P) Act, 1967 relating to lobbing of a grenade by some unknown miscreants, belonging to United Liberation Front, Asom (Independent), in front of the Central Mall on RG Road under Geetanagar PS from the opposite side aiming at the police personnel, on 15.05.2019, which led to injuries to 12 personnel.
